Courses
at Village Lac Dumouchel
Founded in Montreal in
1972, The Palmistry Centre is one of North America's oldest and
largest centers for self-understanding through studies and services
in Vedic Palmistry and Astrology. Since 1997, the Centre has been
affiliated with the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines, in Calcutta,
India.
In 1998, The Palmistry
Centre expanded its course program to Village Lac Dumouchel. This
500-acre lakefront retreat in Chénéville, Qc, serves
as an international facilities for studies and services in vedic
palmistry, astrology, and ayurvedic healing.
 Resident
students can earn a diploma from introductory to advanced levels
in vedic palmistry and astrology. Courses can be taken privately
or in groups. They can be taken on an intensive basis, over a weekend,
a week, a month, or more casually scheduled over a 10-week semester
or a year. Interest courses are also available.
Village Lac Dumouchel
also offers Self-Development Programs and Intuition Development
Programs which combine learning about yourself while becoming proficient
in palmistry and astrology.
Accreditation
with the Ministry of Revenue
Since January 2001, The
Palmistry Center and Village Lac Dumouchel as affiliates of National
Research Institute for Self-Understanding (est. 1972) have been
recognized as educational institutes by the Province of Québec.
Students can apply for provincial tax rebate for courses taken at
the Centers.
