When we compare our hands, we gain an understanding of where we are coming from and where we are headed. The
non-dominant hand shows us past tendencies that we have brought with us into this life; the
dominant hand represents our present resolutions, and the goals we want to achieve. By understanding both hands, we can draw upon our past experiences and the awareness of future possibilities to live more fully in the present.
Usually, the dominant hand shows a number of improvements over that of the non-dominant hand, indicating that you are making progress. Generally speaking, the three major lines of heart, head and life will be deeper, longer, better defined, and more ideally situated on the dominant hand. These changes indicate that an evolution is taking place in your consciousness, specifically regarding how you love (
heart line), think (
head line), and live (
life line).
Although you may have positive resolutions to change for the better, as seen by your dominant hand, you must also be aware of any potentially self-defeating patterns you may carry in your subconscious, as shown by your non-dominant hand.
It is not uncommon to find better-formed lines in your non-dominant hand - the hand that represents your subconscious. This simply means that you are already blessed with great qualities. But, for one reason or another, you came into the present life, as shown by your dominant hand, with less developed lines, showing a lack of awareness of your positive qualities.
If this is the case, through disciplines such as meditation and positive affirmations, you can tap into the rich wealth of your subconscious and express it consciously. Accordingly, you will see the major lines of your dominant hand changing for the better.
